Silvaube bullets

#1 Post by jjvc »

While looking for other stuff I came across a box of these in my stash, Mountain & Sowden Silvalube bullets. A real blast from the past that are now duly loaded and ready for my Armalon .45acp. tongueout

Melt them down, mix them with plenty of range scrap and cast something decent from them.

They were sh!te boolits when they were being made and they are sh!te boolits now.

:good: I also have some knocking about somewhere, I think they may be 9mm. Does anyone remember "Bingley" bullets? Good quality swaged .38 HBWC's. They shot very well in my S&W Mod 14.

Gosh I loved Bingley bullets. You could buy big tins of them. I used to use a load of their 148 grain HBWC in my Python. I also used to use a lot of Silvalubes.
