I see it was a high velocity rifle and not a medium velocity rifle!

I think I get your drift. Perhaps it would be more appropriate to refer to the the cartridge as 'high velocity' rather than the rifle. I think most of us would probably agree that a cartridge that produces as in this case a MV of 3,300 fps is indeed 'high velocity cartridge'. where perhaps a .303 British at 2400fps might be described as medium velocity etc. Notwithstanding that, did you think that the article and film put over the necessity for deer management/culling?

An easy mistake for a journo probably not over familiar with ballistic terms. Some people on here who are shooters insist on calling bullets, Heads :o ;) :lol: :lol:
