How about:

Labour Parliamentary candidates must "prove suitability"!

Most would fail!

So ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officers, Alpha1)'s lobbyists have joined forces with Labour, eh. Doesn't bode at all well for us if Labour get in in 2015.

You guys have got to get organised.
The CA is not opposed to an increase in the licence fee, but it needs to be accompanied by a better service to those applying for a licence.
The CA should be opposed to any increase in the licence fee because you just know the authorities will take the p!$$ on pricing.

A fellow shooter said to me tother day, " we should not have to pay anything for fac or variations after all its them that want us to have the fac not us!"

That was a different point if view......

Diana Johnson is spouting on here as well,
http://labourlist.org/2013/10/its-time- ... n-subsidy/
Plenty of reference to Athertons crimes with quotes as to why he should not have been granted a ticket but no mention of Durhams failings, just;
"The Durham Coroner, the Independent Police Complaints Commission and the Home Affairs Select Committee have all proposed tougher rules to prevent people with a history of drug or alcohol abuse, mental illness and violence – especially domestic violence – from acquiring firearms licenses".
