Would anybody have advice on the best reasonably priced Walkie Talkies that I could use as a range radio please?
Our club ones are getting a little old..
Thanks

I have used these

BUT (and its a big but) you either need to programme them yourself to operate on the PMR 446 frequencies or get the supplier to do it. As default they are on somebody else's frequencies, think it might be one of the emergency services. They are also more powerful than is strictly legal, but OFCOM does not give a monkeys about PMR446.

We have Kenwoods, just can't remember the model, they are fantastic. Always work, we have tested them up to 3-4 miles with no problems.
TK something me thinks.

Midland G7 PMR radios are very good on the range, there is a simple mod to increase power to 3w and add extra channels as these are export models running reduced power.

Our are Kenwood TK3207s
They are programmable with the right software and cable so you can change frequencies, power outputs etc. In theory you could have two sets of the same 8 PMR channels on low power and high power. We have a set of three and ours work incredibly well at distances. Battery life is very good as well.
I just spotted these
