Sorry about the quality of the picture but can anyone identify this sight please? I presume its a PH of some sort and I think they were fitted to the L81A1's but apart from that I know very little. I have two of these and both are in un-issued condition and certainly look better in the flesh than they do in the photo.
There is a stamp of CR403 on the front face of the bridge and various parts are stamped with an F but no makers name that I can see. One of them is ear-marked for a project but the other (along with a unissued #5 jungle carbine ladder sight) will probably end up on the Bay of Evil once I can get a decent description together.

You are correct, it is the rear sight from the L81 A1 (minus its eye-piece).
