Grüß Gott,

I was not aware that the Kriegsmarine was using some Billy-the-Kid type of pistol shooting ... but I guess this is the best "Wild West fastest gun slinger" German Navy P08 set ever seen ;)

Kriegsmarine marked holsters and belts are very rare so in a way it is sad that this was "modified" in such a way. The "liberator" (a texan ?) even cut two notches in the belt so the holster's loops fit into it and doesn't move...

But on the other hand it is a very unique & über cool trophy :good:

No comments on the actual P08 and NCO schirmmütze ... I am just green with envy :squirrel:

Thats a really super P08, looks great!

I had a nice, Kriegsmarine "Ostsee" (Baltic Sea Fleet) issued P.08 Luger a while back, what markings does that one have froggy?

Re-
It's unfortunatly not mine but on the other photos we can see it is an all matching 1940 mauser made ("42" marked) issued to the Nordsee fleet (grip spin back + mag)...
I know ... the dream stuff ...
Did you surender yours Huntervixen ?

BTW the association in the same sentence of the word "nice" with P08 + KM is a pleonasm ;)

Mine was a deac I'm afraid, went to a Luger collector, but if you want to collect post 1919 pistols in the UK, you have no choice with our draconian firearm laws!

Here she is, S42 (Mauser) manufactured and 1938 dated.

Interesting piece, sorry to see her go.
