Package from the USA#2

I was trolling through the Lee web-site on Monday and in their `close-out` section they had some custom 8mm Lebel F/C dies for $25.
Great news for me as I have a Berthier carbine and Lee only do a 2 die set for this calibre.

I duly ordered one (which has already been shipped) but the shipping costs were $28, plus any import duty and the £8 handling charge levied by Royal Mail to be added on; oh well at least I have one on its way.

Lee also say that they are not taking any custom orders until Jan 2014, they must be busy little bunnies!

The shipping costs and duty are a killer I got stung for duty and charged £8 for the privilege earlier in the year that's why I started sending stuff to my friends house in Florida.

BundleBox?

You probably won't save any money, but it will get to you within a couple of days of sending, and there's no messing about waiting for the card, paying the VAT, then waiting for another visit from the postie (and you keep your hard-earned out of the hands of the post office for the privilege of collecting VAT from you). Some US suppliers seem to process domestic orders much more quickly too. Works best if you actually bundle stuff.

For Lee stuff Titan Reloading are much cheaper than Lee themselves and offer cheaper shipping. The cheapest options are shown when checking out not in the shipping calculator on the main page.
