A rare old girl

I have had the opportunity to shoot this rare rifle recently on a couple of occasions and what a lovely rifle to shoot.
She is a Webley Wyley chambered in 500/450 No. 2 Musket.
From what I can gather there are only about 11 known examples in the world so I couldnt turn down the offer of a blast or two and you certainly know that you have shot it (similar to my M/H on a full 85 grain load)

The stock has an extra inlet to accommodate the rear sight so that it can be shot supine.

and the foresight is an engineering masterpiece-even though the post is so fine that certain conditions make it difficult to see!

The (now scint!) owner is developing a load at the moment but initial outings are proving what an accurate rifle this is turning out to be.
