I'll be looking to get a second cabinet soon as I'm running out of space to store my rifles without knocking them.
What's a good value for money make that will hold 10+ scoped rifles?

Brattonsound,
If you check eBay, you see them come up SH. They are almost a industry standard with little negative feedback.
Not sure about taking 10 + scoped rifles though, that is a tall order, at a glance the MT9 takes 9 and is tall,

I have a Buffalo River 10 gun and a Brattonsound 7 gun (same width as their 9 gun), both together will just handle 10 scoped rifles without them being too close for comfort!.
The Buffalo River 10 gun is a really nice cabinet, fully lined etc. but as with all cabinets once you start using rifles with large objective scopes and/or target turrets space decreases rapidly unless you want things resting against each other.

I use an infac 16 gun, reasonably priced, top lock box as well

The 16 gun Infac is actually smaller (width ways) than the Buffalo River 10 gun, 450mm vs 520mm but it is 40mm deeper. Their 18gun is a bit wider at 600mm.

DJS, shockingly fast delivery and eight lever locks (b/sound=7)...otherwise they are Brattonsound clones for £50 less and UK made.

Brattonsound.
Don't bother with second hand but go for a new one as there will be no hassle in collecting/delivery. You order from gun shop and they order from Brattonsound and it is delivered direct to you.
They also have a new range of gunsafes - Titan R and Titan S.
The Titan R will hold 12 scoped guns and the Titan R24 has a capacity of 24 scoped guns. The R can be supplied in Left or Right hand hinges and the R24 has two doors and both can per personalised with/without top box, shelves &c.

What is the best way of installing a replacement cabinet? Contact FEO, arrange a day for them to inspect the cabinet, leave guns with local RFD, remove old cabinet and fix new one to the wall? Is that the only way?

Is the new cabinet one which meets the BS spec? What did you finally buy?
If there is no doubt about te cabinet suitability, take guns from old cabinet and place in new - so they are secure and your wife/partner/children &c cannot get them.
Undo old cabinet and move away.
Move guns to old cabinet.
Fix new cabinet - to the same or better standard than before.
Put guns in new cabinet.
You could call the FEO before the day and tell them you are doing it but I believe you do not need to. Last time I moved my cabinet, I called them, mainly to find out how they would react and they said just do it and well come round after - just to check. More a case of calling in for a coffee and a 10 second cursory check.

I've not decided whether to get one large one or have 2 7 gun cabinets next to each other.
I'll call my FEO and see what he says.
