Hi all

I have a friend who is looking at moving back to sunny Yorkshire (not sure exactly where abouts) to continue his retirement, he's got his priorities right as he needs to make sure that he can still continue to shoot without having to travel too far bangbang

Here's the question....... Can you let us know what ranges are about up there and at what distances etc so that he can have a nose about and give himself a narrowed down area for his property search?

Much appreciated on Keith's behalf sign92

Strensall near York springs to mind however Yorkshire is a huge county. Does he shoot short or long distance stuff?

Everything up from 25m really with a preference of 100 upwards to about 600, he shoots black powder at the intermediate ranges but still likes the 600 for the 308, 303 etc

Stead Hall Firearms near Harrogate have a dedicated tunnel range and should also have a gallery range open now
