TV/Movie gun trivia....

#1 Post by Sim G »

Let's see if we can take up a couple of pages with some gun trivia from the movies and TV. Not obscure stuff, but no doubt it won't be of interest to some....

Once the correct answer is posted, I'll stick up another.

So, where did Jim Rockford from the Rockford Files keep his gun at home?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

We don't now where he kept it, but we expect it had one of those Hi-Cap Hollywood magazines that never run out...

In where eagles dare, what is the magazine capacity of the 'Schmeisser' / MP40 in the scene on the staircase. O:-)
The above post probably contains sarcasm or some other form of attempted wit, please don't take it to heart.

Yep, a S&W m36, Chiefs Special...

Kept in the coffee jar because, "The coffee grounds stopped the salt air getting to it and rusting it.."

Perhaps a little too difficult first off...

So, what handguns were carried by which of the two main characters in Starsky and Hutch?

Seem to remember Hutch having the large shiny revolver, and Starsky having the auto...but can't remember the models?
