2.2 mm rifle rounds?

An error repeated several times... Not one of journalism's finest hours, nor do the couple who found the bullets appear to be possessed of a brain between them...

This is a more interesting cache, and not all WW2 as claimed...

Obviously .22", and seems to be .303" in the pictures as well.

I'm very surprised the police didn't arrest and charge the man, given that he's admitted to carrying some of the rounds in his pocket to show a friend. Open and shut case of possession without a certificate.

Would those be the same horribly dangerous rounds he's now so afraid of ?

Must be a southerner that dumped them.

Anyone from up north would have pulled the bullets & used the powder to keep warm

'We have friends with young children who could have put one of the bullets in their mouth, or one of our cats could have got hold of one - it doesn’t bear thinking about.

'We were planning to be in this house for years - now we want to move out as soon as we can.

The couple, who have been together for 10 years, moved into the rented house last September

A right pair of tw'ts, talk about hysterical pantywetting...Is this REALLY what this nation has descended into?

oh and SHOTGUN bullets???

Needs to be sent down to the QM's for a good beating and the application of a goodly quantity of starch to the upper lip...
