Tucked away at the south end of Loch Shiel, some 45 miles south-west of Fort William, the Lochaber village is where the eight-year-old MacDonald first fired a shotgun and where he honed the skills than earned him a place in the Guinness Book of Records at the age of just 11 for being the youngest person to shoot 100 straight in the down-the-line discipline.
