Threaded 1/2-28UNEF and designed for 223/556 caliber. Reduced recoil and muzzle rise.
The DGN556B is very effective at managing blast gas as can be seen from this test shot. Its not a flash hider at all, but given that is more effective at braking than anything else in this photo, the muzzle blast management is pretty impressive.
Super high speed video and motion tracking technology detail the exact height and distance the 13'' barrel moved when firing a 62gr GGG 556 round through these two different brakes. First and Second place out of everything tested. The DGN556B reduced recoil by 45-50%.
