What's the difference between Forster and Reding neck die bushings and why are they not interchangeable.

So that if you buy the dies you have to use their bushings, its called selling.

I use and hghly rate the Forster dies, Redding is as good to but the Forster are cheaper and I've found Forster better to deal with for custom work.

Are the bushing dimensions very different between the two makes if you put them side by side what is the difference.
Obviously the internal dimension will be the same is one bushing taller than the other wider what's the difference.

Adam was kind enough to lend me a Forster bushing to measure up and I can make them work in my Le Wilson neck sizing dies I just need to find some one that sells them.

Hannams or Reloading Solutions should be able to help you.

Reloading solutions don't have them in. Don't know about Hannams.

Hannam's do stock them but they (Forster) don't do a complete range like Wilson do - but you may as well try.

Adam has managed to source me some Forster bushings in the sizes I was looking for.(Thanks Adam)
The guys in the machine shop made me a spacer that fits on top of the Le Wilson neck dies that allows me to use Forster bushings so problem solved.
I have now got the option I can use Reding or Forster.
