Getting closer..
All I need to do now is fit the Hogue grips when the arrive and fit the longer rear butt rod and that is about it for a standard build. This one has a 20 minute rail in silver however I have some being type 3 anodised to match the rest of the chassis and will start using them instead.
Not shown are the front accessory rail and bipod mounting plate or Front bag rider option, also the rear bag rider ladder frame needs to be fitted, this will give local elevation control in 1,5mm steps to compensate for uneven firing points.
The silver bit behind the trigger guard is a temporary latch assembly which will be replaced with a black version and thumb screw for quick removal of the rear section for cleaning and bolt removal.
Finally I need to finish off some walnut hand grips, with luck I will get the first one fitted later this week. This one is fitted with a 31" Pac-Nor barrel and currently weighs in at 6.600Kg. Choice of 'scope was purely down to what was closest on the shelf, it is a KAPS 10X on AI one piece with BDC and will be replaced with something far more suitable. All in all I am very pleased with the build.
