I heard at a club meeting last night from a member who said that S/S is not open to us any more at the weekend. Is this correct, some of us were intending to go down tomorrow.

depends on what you call the weekend? Sat/Sun to most of the world Friday may be a problem ring the Range office tongueout

I was happily blatting away there a fortnight ago, seems to be business as usual.

I shot there on Sunday at the 200 yard point. The place was heaving.

SS is available at weekends.

SS is prioritised to a commercial customer during the week. If you want 100/200 during the week please bid, we will do the best we can to meet your requirement on any range, and if SS is available we will put you there.

We have a really pretty new firing point at 100 on the right of Century, and we are just waiting for the turf to settle (about end May?) before we offer you 24 targets at 100/200 there, including a plan for six electronic targets (wiring trunking in place, targets and monitors to follow).

Electronic targets? Like the sound of that if they will be available for us lesser mortals to book during the week for an hour or two.

Will the new 100 yrd ones on Century have benches or all prone?

Prone I'd guess.

so it could be the case if you want to bench rest shoot at 100yds then you can only shoot on SS at the weekend, I do hope that is not the case, if it is I would be interested to hear if this was put to the members / committee first before it was signed off.
