5.11 Is a tactical clothing and accessories manufacturer who are based in the USA (Although much of their gear is not manufactured in the USA).

I have bought numerous 5.11 items in the past and strongly recommend them. Until now you either bought through USA Ebay, and suffered the consequences if anything went wrong, as I did, or pay the UK dealers price.

I am pleased to say that 5.11 is now shipping to the UK and appear to have set up a UK based web page. No idea where the items are coming from but at first glance prices are between the advertised USA price and those charged by the UK dealers.

I had some 5.11 boots, superb quality but just too warm in anything other than the coldest days.

From the wording of the email that I received, it looks like 5.11 have "done their legs", it certainly states that 5.11 now ships international. I might be wrong, it could be a cunning sales tactic to route you through to your nearest authorised dealer, but I am not convinced.
We will know when we try to purchase something that comes with a free gift - the UK dealers tend not to get them / pass them on.

Edgars used to be the importer, but as DM said, they dropped them when 5.11 decided to ship internationally. Incidently, EB import Blackhawk instead....

I'm a big 5.11 user and have more of their kit than I'd care to admit to......
