Hi guys,Yesterday I bought a hundred ACS 168 grain match hpbt bullets for my .308. I cant find any info online on these bullets,I think their made in the US,at least thats what the shop owners tells me.
Any advice or info will be appreciated.

Hi Col, to be honest mate the only bullets I have heard/read about over here in the States with the name ACS is the "Ammunition Coded Bullets". Those were an idea that a couple of bright spark came up with to barcode bullets back around 2008 in order that they can be traced to a buyer/gun. As it turned out they didn't work as the barcode was unreadable 99.9% of the time after the round had been fired.
I presume ACS is a manufacturer name as well then, would you happen to know what ACS means apart from Ammunition Coded Bullets?

Thanks for the reply Blu. all I know is the name on the bag said ACS. 168grn match hpbt, I have the latest quickload and it does not list them there. I have measured them, the closest bullet I can find to them is Prvi,so I guess I`ll just have to assume thats what they are and try them, Cheers mate

Col, the label on the bag is not a mis-read is it? Ace bullets were a value cast pistol bullet that Hannams used to distribute years ago. Probably still do, but perhaps ventured into "value" rifle bullets as well......

They could well be Prvi as some companies market and label them under an 'own name'
