Does anyone out there uniform their primer pockets, specifically for TR/MR? Books and authors vary in their approach.

I do for cases that I will be using for accuracy ammunition, live quarry and serious target shooting.
I use the primer pocket uniformer on the Lyman Case Prep Centre Express, I used to use their hand tool but my arthritic hands meant I had to go mechanised, also case prep is my least favourite handloading task so the least time spent on it the better. However it is a job that needs doing and doing well to get the benefit on the target.

I am not a TR/MR shooter however I do uniform my primer pockets for F Open after the first firing, not before.

To do it for live targets I find unnecessary as I get about half min arc with my stalking loads already. However, as Dromia says, it is a pain, but I think that I will have to do it for target work. Having said that, I haven't done a formal assessment of my MR loads. Perhaps they will produce sub half min. results too. I am grateful for the input.
