Guest Day at Severnside

And I decided to take the wife along. She has an SGC and owns a .410, but hasn't used it for a year or more. Being a mere 5'1" and a shade over 7 stone, she's a little wary of anything bigger. Due to a medical condition, felt recoil is a massive problem, but she wanted to try so I took a selection with us to the range. She did well with the GSG-5 (until it started playing up), but the Marlin in .44 Mag was too much and she didn't even want to try a .308.
It was bloody cold out there as well, but she did say that she wanted to go again (when the weather warms up)! Still not sure if this is a good thing or not, if she goes all the way with it and gets her own FAC, she might finally get a look in the cabinets and work out how much I've spent......
Still, the club members made her feel very welcome and she got to see where I slope off to on Sunday mornings!
