Today it finally arrived my walther ps55 red dot site. Well pleased with the purchase been looking at these for around 3 months but actually put off purchasing a new one till my visit, that done I started searching, and managed to fine one as in new condition for £45.00, nearly half the price, will be a great addition for the cmmg later this month..
Just doing something I rarely do, waiting, has paid off. clapclap

I've been looking for a decent red dot for ages. Bought a BSA thinking it would be OK, brand name and all that and it's pants. Just want one that will do for a .22lr semi auto. I'll have a look for one of those Walther jobs, even if it's more expensive than the £50 odd quid I paid for the BSA, it'll be worth it.

Cant see why not, havent really seen a bad review, also the review off guntrader was adequate..Many months ago I set my heart on a vortex strike fire, but couldnt justify the £175 price tag, with the cost of the rife and vortex, the rifle would have started to hit the £1500 mark.
Watched reviews on utube with 223 AR, s and the ps55 seemed ok there also. razz
Also on eeebay at £53, but from a german seller, so not sure if any additional costs involved with shipment/customs ?

Sorry Leigh but you are confusing BSA with the old company that produced good products and stood by them.
Brand name ? All their optics are cheap and nasty and their guarantee is not worth a light. Frankly with optics you get just what you pay for with a few certain exceptions that punch above their weight.
