Just a heads up for anybody interested in the area.

Strathpeffer Rifle Club are having a full-bore Rifle practise at Cawdor range on Sunday 10th March; first shoot of the year so a chance to get your rifles ready (anything except HME).

It will cost you £5, please try & be there for 09:00 for safety brief, first shot downrange at 10:00. You will be expected to assist with butt duty, take eats with you or be prepared to lose weight.

Shooting will commence at the 100/200 range and progress back possibly to 600 yards.

Any further info required, just PM me or email the club.

Unfortunately, I won't make it. My son is skating in the first Open competition of year on Sunday in Irvine and I'll be there cheering him on.

If all goes to plan I'll be shooting with Aberdeen on their guest day to check the zero on my rifles for April.

One day to go; suppose it will just be the usual bunch there.

Next day will be 14th April.
