Obama hypocrisy!

Obama gave his speech to the people of America this week and promised more jobs to aid growth in the US. Yet, hair brained plans to ban "assault" rifles, high cap mags and introduce background checks on firearm sales would appear to be driving state legislators to drive people out of work and damage the economy.
Ironically, the above proposals suggested after Sandyhook would appear to have done exactly what Obama is looking to achieve, certainly within the gun industry!

Six months before the Sandy Nook masacre, the Obama administration was looking to lessen ITAR regs to allied countries as the small arms/weapons manufacturing sector were the only manufacturing sector in the US making any decent money.....
Common sense, business acumin or even cold hard tax dollars will have nothing to do with the legislation proposed. Raw emotion is driving that...

I agree with you about the Hypocrasy of politicians, ours are no different, and yes they will destroy a whole Industry in the name of the Political Ideology they follow, Obama, whist I believe he has been good in some ways from a UK perpective, he is a Democrat.
Having said that there will always be those who present an exagerated view to try an influence a counter position, but perhaps they do have a valid point.
Our own Labour Party are no different, they will do the same in Power wait and see!

As posted many times, this is all about control, the damage to the economy is of no concern to these people. getting rid of guns from the law abiding is the agenda. Nothing to do with saving kids, rather political dogma from a comitted antigunner.
