I'm currently trying to achieve my 1st 100x100 at 25m (10 roundel target)
I'm using a club rifle a Brno no2 with a 4x40 scope ..
My scores seem to be stuck in the low 90s area ..
Should I give up and use a specific target rifle with peep sights or is it worth persevering ?

I would get one of the experienced club shooters to have a go with your rig. It could be the rifle although the Brno 2 is usually capable of reasonable accuracy. It could be the scope, you may not be able to adjust the parallax down to 25 yds. It could be your ammunition, some rimfires are very fussy, you need to find one that suits your rifle. It could be the trigger, it's not match quality. It could be you.
A reasonable club level shot, even with something as basic as a 60 year old BSA 12/15 would be averaging in the low 90's. That would be with iron aperture sights and the rifle not supported other than a sling. A good club shot with their own match rifle should be averaging in the high 90's. A good scoped .22 rifle with a bipod I would want 100 every time at 25 yds.

Try something different if you can, you might get a pleasant surprise!
When I was younger (about 15/16) I chased the elusive 100 for months and was getting 93-95's on good nights but a fellow club member saw my frustration and took me under his wing lending me his Martini Int, I ditched the Eley Club in favour of Eley Match, had some positional/breathing training and within a couple of meets saw a jump in my averages. Wasnt long after that I got my first 100. I still remember the feeling of elation even though it was 30 years ago and I have owned that very rifle for 4 years now (its not going anywhere)
Good luck.

When you do achieve it, savour the moment.
You can only do something for the first time once. The feeling will never be the same again. The memory has to last a lifetime.

It is quiet common when shooting a discipline for improvement and raising you average to "plateau" and seem to be stuck at a certain level.provided that your rifle is sound then perhaps a break from it for a few weeks shooting something totally different like BP pistol and then return with fresh eyes to your technique and position can sometimes help shooters move on.

Ahh! - If you can do that standing then maybe you can give me a few tips - I've been practicing for more than 50 years. :)
