Excluding rim-fire and black powder what percentage of your shooting is with handloads? Might be interesting and instructive for new shooters.

All of my .303 and .223 is hand loaded. It would be nice if all of my .308 was hand loaded but as a competition shooter I have to use 'issued' ammunition in some of the TR Matches, although match organisers are slowly coming round to 'any ammunition including hand-loads'.
All of my Match Rifle shooting is with hand loads and all of my TR shooting with one of my clubs is hand loads. The Club has a very good set up and we load for club members at 43p per round using 155 SMKs and N140. The clubs ammunition is regularly submitted to the Birmingham Proof House for testing and has a CIP approval. All of my .303 and .308 is approved by the proof house.
(Just run three very successful hand-loading courses for members so that they can use the club kit and load their own).

I have only shot HPS/Privi of the shelf in my .308 and .303, I intend to reload my own eventually. Looking at starter kit at the minute, I have been keeping my brass to reuse. Any rules/tips on store brass till I can get it processed?
.22 and shotgun shells I obviously buy of the shelf.

I would just make sure to keep tabs on how often its been used and, if applicable, in which guns. This is especially the case if you have more than one .303. You end up buying lots of tuppaware boxes!

so whats the rule of thumb on the number of times brass can be reused? or is it a case of inspect each case for signs of wear/failure?
