Does anyone have any experience of shooting at this range? I'm planning on going back to Belgium (used to live there a few years back) to visit some old friends and thought I might get some pistol action in while I'm there. Looking on the tinternet it would appear that this range is popular with UK based visiting shooters, but I wouldn't mind some first hand info.

Very brief article in Gun Mart recently. You need an FAC A
and €30 gets you on to the range. They also are a distributor for STI so that's gotta be good.

I'm planning to go to NI IN March/April for some pistol action but Belgium was on the cards until I worked out the travel costs the range is only 8 miles from the ferry port at Zeebrugge.

I shot there once a few years back, always meaning to get back but never have the time.

Small range, about 5 firing points. Good selection of pistols to rent. Nice people.

I rented a CZ 9mm and a S&W .44 MAG, both with 50 rounds + range fee and targets it only cost about 75 euro.

As Mike says you need proof of I.D. i.e. a FAC.

Have fun.

I was at a range in Kontich on the weekend and Coppens came up in conversation regarding visiting Brits, so I think they are still active. I imagine the important question is whether they can accept new members/visitors (especially since regs tightened here); a quick call should answer that, but from the answers above and the information on the website it sounds positive.

Contact them first before just turning up to make sure they are open and have range space.
The only down side is the range is pretty pokey!
Its only 25 yards or so with a sand back stop and narrow shooting booths.
Targets are on electric overhead cables and can be set to various distances.
Its worth taking some of your own targets.
As said a good range of pistols up to 44 mag desert eagle.
They do allow (or did?) full bore rifle and slug.
I used to be a member and had two guns there but gave it up as the cost was too much.
I took a car load of mates a few years ago and they had a good time.

If anyone's interested, I've just spoken to them on the phone and they're very much still open for visiting shooters.
