It is issues like Firearms legislation that little "never likely to make the cabinet" MPs use to generate publicity for themselves and their party.

I am sick to death of politicians and am considering not voting in Westminster elections. As far as I can gather, MSPs seem to be a more down to earth bunch with less of an agenda although there are one or two numptys.
