Bump Firing taken to extremes

Thought this was interesting. How to turn your semi in to a full auto. Would this be classed as illegal here, when it's just changing the stock and grip? I don't want one, just curious if it circumvents current UK laws.

It relies on the rifle being semi-auto so not a possibility in the UK (apart from .22). Seems a bit of a short term gimmick to me. The whole concept of the gun bouncing backward and forward means that you couldn't get even a pretence of accuracy (as if you could in full auto anyway). I think you'd pretty soon get bored with it.

Sorry I should have said, I was only talking about .22. If you didn't watch the whole video, take a look at him shooting in the range around the 50 second mark, It looks surprisingly accurate at short range.

I suspect you'd get some death stares at the range with this...

We all got to shoot this at the Shot Show range day - awesome but very difficult to control!

Would it be legal over here? Well, for a start, it would need to work with a rimfire which may not have enough recoil.

Yes good point... and I think the answer is it probably wouldn't work with .22. :cool2:

Looks like fun though.

I would have thought that the powers that be would frown on it ,might also be an excuse to try to ban 22 semi's
imagine the newspapers getting hol of that video ..
