No to airgun licensing in Scotland petition.
I never have much faith in these petitions but if no one signs them there is even less chance of the message getting through, so if you haven't done so already please sign.
I know it is about airguns but it is fundamentally anti shooting and we should all stand together and resist when and wherever possible.
I know BASC and the GTA are involved in challenging this, still waiting for a sensible reply from the NRA about what they are doing. I hope that the NSRA are opposing this with vigour also.

Signed when BASC flagged it up but was expecting it to have more names than it has by now! :cool2:

Here is a link to Colin Greenwoods submission to the Select Committee on Home Affairs. Well worth reading, as are all of Colin's writings.

Signed mine...had a nice rant about tyranny and Hitler....of course with some practical facts about farming and how airgun shooters assist farmers with pests freeing them up for more important farm work :shakeshout:, That and I'd move south if I was Scottish...was tempted to say they would have to kill me to take my AR (Air Rifle)...

Here's the link to the NRA page I found.
http://www.nra.org.uk/common/asp/conten ... RA&id=1219
Is that it Karen?
Does the NRA have a view on the proposed legislation other than just asking shooters in Scotland to respond?
For, against or on the fence?

Please pass the link around to other shooters and supporters of shooting that you might know.
A good showing of signatures would be a fine thing, it can't be good for the shooting community to be seen as not caring about the plight of air gun owners in Scotland.
