Allow me to introduce the C.G INCH actioned Model 75 Tube chassis.
The proven C.G INCH .308 Bolt face rifle action in it's very own specifically designed tube chassis system offering many new and innovative features including a quick release bayonet rear section for ease of cleaning, barrel that can be easily removed without tools and available in F/TR, F Open and Target Rifle Options.
This rifle system will be built here in the UK as part of a collaboration with Action Clear and Robert Chombart and will be available from early 2013 onwards either as an Action and chassis only or complete rifle system complete with optional F/TR bipod and a choice of 'scopes.

The bayonet goes at the pointy end not the blunt end... :55:
Having it at the back IS NEW, dunno about innovative though-but!!
Joking aside:
Looks good, though I'd be interested to see what a bull-pup configuration would look like
(a 6.8 SPC~II in a bull-pup would be interesting)
eg. I saw this pic & instantly wanted one:
How about different action lengths, say for 6.5x55 too? Straight pull?
The std. 308 length would be of use for any of the SA calibers
What about an integral moderator option too?
...just a few ideas
Your making these will be great though!!
Even better if you can punt them out for £50 inc Delivery, RFD fees & 1000 rounds of match ammo to break it in with

The Model 75 drops down into three component parts, the barrel, action and tube and rear stock assembly so with a 30" barrel it will comfortably fit in a dedicated carry bag that is approximately 32" long by 12" wide, the bag comes complete with an outside pocket to accept a bipod and any other small odds and ends you may need and the rifle can be assembled on the firing point in a matter of seconds.
Come lunch time if you wish to shoot a different cartridge just unscrew the barrel and drop a different one in, so in theory you could swap from 6BR in the morning to .284 Shehane in the afternoon. In effect you can run just one rifle system with multiple barrels and shoot TR one day, F/TR the next and follow that with F Open and Bench Rest, a truly versatile system.

How does swapping barrels affect head spacing?

The tenon design is such that the barrel can be spun on by hand instead of the more traditional torque to 100ft/lbs (AI) or similar. The barrel thread has two registers on it which accurately align the barrel so really the thread is only there to hold it in place.

Are we allowed to talk about it now, ooman ? We've been pondering a bullpup , repeating version too ever since that sneak preview... 'twould make an ideal Injun popper.

This is the Model 75 so it uses the C.G INCH Action and is single shot only, if you want a repeater you need the Model 66, best I get a picture posted. tongueout
