My wee press......continuing from 'Spud's wee press.'

So I arrived home from work today to find a parcel waiting. Not bad delivery considering I ordered it just before the weekend.

Two boxes and a shed load of shredded paper later.

Build quality is OK - certainly as good as most other presses out there. I'd grade it as above average Chinese manufacture.

Thinking about Spud's comment concerning the lengthened height of the dies with micrometer and some of the longer calibres, I decided to remove the vertical rod in order to check if it could be replaced with a longer one. This would prove to be an easy job; 30mins on a lathe at most.

Time and usag may prove otherwise, but at present I'm happy with the press. Not bad for only £42

That's a tidy little press!
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

Explain to me how you would use this type of press and what is the advantage over a Lyman orange crusher loading .303, 7.62x54, 7.62x39, 8mm mauser for instance.
I have no experience of this type of press in fact I have never seen one. So whats the attraction I have seen these for sale for $37.

Alpha, you should watch Spud's video showing the press in use.
