Given that the EUSSR now dictates all laws in order to slowly subjugate the weak and complicit citizens of its Empire, I think that it's now only a matter of time before they remove firearm ownership (at least for target shooting means) in most if not all satellite states.
Agree? Worse things have happened/are happening.

I thought the French could buy shotgun cartridges at the supermarket? Germans and Swedes giving up hunting? The Italians and Spanish being told they can't shoot at anything that moves? EU ban firearms? I don't think they will manage it. But you never know.......

With all due respect that seems like utter nonsense with nobs on to me.
Most (if not all) of European Countries have more liberal firearms laws than us and hunting is very popular and very big business.

I'm 44 years old. I intend making it to 85. I'm halfway through my life, or there abouts. I've been shooting since I was 8 years old. I honestly don't envisage me being able to own or shoot guns till that ripe age.....
That said, I don't think the EU will be the downfall of my sport, there's more than enough mealy mouthed, spiteful, nasty liars in this country waiting to fully exploit the next "firearms disaster"....

They won't ban firearms - they'll tax ammunition (indirectly, of course) until it's unaffordable. Natural wastage will thin out the rest of us with the knowledge to load our own ammo.
Want a rifle? No problem, sir. 50 rounds of ammo? That'll be £500...

sevenSixtwo, once again Condell is on the mark.
other posts have made relevant points but the bottom line is we have let the Eurocrats get away with everything and so IF and/or WHEN they come for our guns or tax our ammo sky high we will meekly accept it and carry on...no regime like the EUSSR etc wants guns in the hands of the people...Game of lemmings anyone?

the current proposals to ban all ammunition containing lead bullets, is this the start of a European firearms ban, there is a very good article in this months gunmart on the subject by the Sportsmans Assc. a very plausible case is put forward and in conjunction with this post should be considered

the current proposals to ban all ammunition containing lead bullets,
Just a way of screwing you all up...Obvioulsy will not aplly to the military so see it as a personal attack on your rights as a sportsman. probably instigated by the dope fuddled bambi lovers and tree huggers.
