#1 Post by airkid »

Hi all

Anyone out there shooting original straight pull actions (not converted SLRs)?

We're not all odd! :D

Seriously, I have an S-R K11 which is very crisp, and I've been offered a Steyr which I am mulling over. I find with my Schmidt that primary extraction is a problem with factory ammo (PPU). It might just be me being limp-wristed of course

Anyone else have that problem with S/P actions?

Nope, but they do need to be started at full throttle and operated with brisk authority.

Yes, it is the Clan Sutherland badge that was worn by the 5th Seaforths Sutherland and Caithness Battalion.
