The comments section is the best, in AZ its actually policy to sell guns that aren't controlled like full auto so the police get to make money off his blinged up tapco stock 10/22 and his puny 380 pistol. He's just begging to get robbed..... also alot of words for I am a cuck, please rob me and screw my wife. I am a cuck, I live the cuck life, here I live with my wife and my wife's son.....

When asked (in the House of Commons in 2015) "how many legally owned .22 calibre semi-automatic rifles have been used in terrorist offences in the last 10 years", Mike Penning (Conservatives) replied... wait for it...
"The information is operationally sensitive and is not suitable for release".
You don't believe me, do you?

That's a long-winded way of saying 'none' - they really do love the sound of their own voices, don't they?

Mr E, its one thing to post on forums and in closed FaceBook groups..... but do you think it is wise to Publically post on senior politicians FB walls were possibly millions of members of the public (and the Police) can read you views on guns and shooting?
I'm just saying that people need to be careful.
You mean perhaps we should go for the tippy-toes, softly softly, forelock tugging, don't rock the boat approach that has stood us in such good stead following Hungerford and Dunblane?
Third time lucky?
Personally I think it's time we became an organized bloody nuisance that locked governments into long and expensive debate to the point that every time some greasy politician looked to us as a stepping stone to their career wiser heads round the table gave them a slap. We need a Nigel Farage to represent an entirely different movement to the impotent organizations we have now. In fact, we need the actual Nigel Farage. I wonder if he's a shooting man?
I concur. Being reasonable & offering compromises only encourages politicians to take whatever they like.
Time to start complaining, long & loud, just like the other minorities who seem to be pandered to at every opportunity.

How many legal firearms owners is there in this country? over a million?, a few million including air gun owners I'd say.
Its time we all made it to London and protested about this never ending erosion of our sport and our rights.
How many people get killed per year in this country from legally sold and taxed tobacco, alcohol, sugar and presciption drug abuse? How many die per year from legally held firearms?
I rest my case ............for now!
I doubt if there's as much as a million if you combined both FAC and SGC holders together.
At a realistic guess maybe around 200,000 FAC holders and around 600,000 SGC holders
wrong, last time gun owners in the UK (not just england and wales) was 2 million sgc and fac togather
I think that's more like the total number of firearms, rather than certificate holders.

Anyone who does this should be immediately investigated by the police/mental health officials as the person is effectively saying either, they can't be trusted with the firearms or they genuinely believe that guns have magical hypno-powers that can turn people into killers

We have a two party system. Its either the Conservatives who will likely sell us down the river depending on which way the wind is blowing, or Labour who hate us and will do anything to get rid of guns in civilian hands. Its only 'fortune' that has ensured that significant shooting events have taken place when the tories have been in government.

I cringe when I see BASC stickers on cars at the local MOD range (which is on open view to the general public)... and then the members drive in convoy to the local pub and step out wearing tweed or combats.... it's not difficult for criminals to work out that this group of people are a shooting party who are likely to have guns and for them to either break into the vehicles or follow individual members home.
WHY? It's law abidng and legal. Workies wear combats too y'know LOL
In fact stats show in the USA that criminals will AVOID vehicles with "NRA", "GUN" (e.g. Glock) or "pro-gun" stickers, and go for the "peace" "Anti gun" and Jesus believers who they know don't generally pose a threat to them. Not that law abiding Brits with guns pose a threat to ANYONE mind you.
Crims can get guns much easier than following you home etc.

Chuck , that post was part of a post originally posted by HH1 earlier this week .
He also at the time posted ..........
"Perhaps I am being over-cautious, but we have had a fair number of club members followed home, assaulted in their driveways and guns stolen because a certain RFD wasn't careful enough with personal data. "
I replied to him .......
"That is one hell of a statement , can you be more specific on the location so that we can all avoid it ? "
So far he seems unable to reply .

FWIW I have written robust letters to my MP and PCC.
I'm not holding my breath.
When will the consultation hit the streets?
