I would assume if it is a condition printed you FAC you have to follow it.
How do you carry pistols in NI to the range ? (Standard fac not ppw)

To comply with conditions a locked box in boot, or you could from reading the condition use a range bag attached to the vehicle with cable etc.

There can be a big difference between 'must' and 'should'.

Good point, the problem is if they were stolen out of a vehicle i would not like to be arguing with the police when they were trying to revoke my FAC the difference between must and should.

Can I just point out that in Arizona there is no requirements for transporting firearms to and from a range
FFS there's enough jibber-jabber going on in this thread without throwing in legislation/FAC conditions from a different country/licensing regime!!

You're a bad man Ordnance!

Yep, done it many times. It was the preferred method of transport on a bike as advised to me by my local Bobby and the FEO. If in the case of a bad accident and I get taken to hospital, possibly unconscious, the firearms go with me and are not left on the side of the road for anyone to pick up.

I'd not like to come off my bike with a pistol in a shoulder holster, landing on it would probably hurt.
