It seems as though the author of the petition (Stijn Vandamme) is also the owner of the Facebook group "Long Distance Shooting in Europe" with the same name, so I guess that the petition has spread through all the European members of the group (unless it's purely co-incidental that there are two Stijn Vandamme's).HALODIN wrote:This must have gone viral. heres the offical policy statement; according to the text this supid ban has to be approved by
the European Parliament and Council. Thus there may be some hope getting it scraped since every member state has repsentive thats sites on the council i think!

what i dont understand though, if this is passed the compensation package would be huge as they have a lot higher gun owernship then we do, or will they find a legal way out of it ?
