No No ovenpaa.

You need a FN Scar :good: that would be my order....

On the question of A Max's spoke to my local reloading shop, asked his opinion "they were designed as Target so they are target" all things expand his words "If I throw you at the wall you'd expand"

He then asked how many did I want,..... I already have some in stock.

Because Thomas Hamilton loaded it into his pistols on that fateful day.......

However, come the Firearms Act re-write, which will happen, I expect to see it drop back to S.1. ACPO even made the suggestion in their submission to the HAC.....
I remember that.Im sure he alternated FMJ's with hollow points, but (and i dont mean this to sound flippant) the end result was the same regardless.

I think a major shake up is needed.

Someone should refer it to the Home Office, together with any evidence from the manufacturer that A Max was designed to be a target bullet.

Why would you want to phone your local firearms dept up you are just stirring a hornets nest up?It states on the A-MAX boxs that they are match that is surely good enough. There are enough restrictions in this country never mind having more.Yes i do use A-MAX bullets because they are accurate however i also use expanding either way what ever i shoot at is dead.Just my opinion. :0037:

Richard, it's already stirred up as Devon & Cornwall have classed them as expanding. Clarification has to be sought before some poor bugger ends up in jail for possession of A-maxs.

Mike surely if this went to court Devon and Cornwell would back down, its just another case of firearms depts acting like gods. They did not write the laws they are there to uphold the laws.A-MAX bullets are not classed as expanding they are match bullets.Im surprised BASC have not taken this up.
