After reading the review i thought that if i didn't know what was special about the MARS rifles beforehand, i would've been none the wiser afterwards! I appreciate with a gun like this a 5 second video could explain better than a 10 page manual but even so!

You're correct blackstuff, why is british gun journalism so bad? Is a side effect of a dying dread tree press or just unique to British shooting mags?

The whole country has dumbed itself down to a level that can barely dress itself since the halcyon days of good journalism and quality publications like Guns Review.

Some people will say you've got rose-coloured spectacles on, but I watched a bit of an interview from the 80's. It was Malcolm Muggeridge and William F Buckley. Both men were so well spoken, I could not believe it and you're more than likely right.

I still have all my copies of Guns Review and the writing is in a totally different league from the vast majority of todays pen prostitutes.
The articles are well written, informative and give reasoned opinions and views, advertising has no bearing what so ever on the outcome of an article. Bad kit is bad kit and it says so, if you read todays gun comics then every product is perfect and we should rush out and buy it, they make it so easy having the paid advertising next to the propaganda article.
That doesn't need any coloured spectacles to see.

So it was clear I was complementing you then Dromia? And yes they are bit like comics. I don't know if its a sign of the times or what. But that does get me, a review next to something advertising it. I guess that's why youtube gun reviews are so useful.

Awful article as ever. A tenth of the facts required.
