Actually, that was wrong of me, a knee jerk reaction and rather unfriendly, my apologies.

We have never met so for my part it would be unfair of me to judge you as such.

As for the comment "WE"....you and who's shooting club mate? Due to the cull it cant be badgers that's for sure.

Probably not the greatest idea to have a dig and then try qualifying it with some consensus, imagined or otherwise.

One of the small (but not insignificant) problems with this sort of forum is it allows folk who don't know each other to make personal comments without any real recourse, or have a clue about to whom they are referring.

Self deprecation is one thing. I do it all the time, so that you don't have to. Its called banter if you know each other, but if you don't, it's just being....well, I will let you work it out for yourself.

The folk I have had a dig at on here know me (Hard luck) and give as good as they get.

The comment about dolly the sheep was aimed at a chance comment by someone who I consider as a friend and forum member (a mod actually) who once referred to me as being like having someone special in the family...which is what we are I guess.

But think about it...why would I write something like that unless it was a humoured dig at myself??

So there you are, that makes you my brother, so pack it in or I will stuff your action man up the chimney!! tesnews

I reserve judgement, it would be great if you could give me the courtesy of doing the same.

Hopefully, we will meet up one day, have a laugh and a coffee, it seems to be the happy route this forum is taking and I for one think it's great (being billy no mates...see...at it again).
