Finally after a false start when one of my referee forms went astray I received my FAC last week.

So here is my very first rifle.....

Its a Savage Arms model 2 BTVS.

I've put about a 100 rounds through her so far, I'm loving the accutrigger and with the mod on she's nearly as quiet as my air rifle.

Cheers everybody

This is my COD fantasy gun, I've had the barrel cut down to 13" and am after an over barrel Whildcat Whisper mod to go on the end. It should go about 2" into the handguard when attached.

I have a X3 magnifier for the red dot and a few other things, but it starts to get heavy once you attach everything you can to it ;)

Have a look at the TET Matrix Mod, I have one for my .22lr and over the barrel and under the handguard, about 35mm diameter.

My new favorite little rifle (But my first will always be the tried and true Marlin Model 60)

Salut Pfletch83

Hardly surprising. Couple of guys in the club have one. Here is the UK, the 15/22 is the cheapest of the "new generation of military looking 22" . It's my fav and such fun :good:

Don't think the 15-22 is the cheapest, but it certainly has a good reputation.

The Anny RX22 is cheaper than the 15-22, but the 15-22 is a lot more customisable. Is that a word? Is now!

Anyway, if you're looking for cheap out the box plinking, gsg5 or rx22.

If you're liable to fiddle n chop n change stuff, go for the 15-22.

The 15-22 is to the shooting world what the AC Cobra is to the kit car world;

Soon everyone will have one, they'll quickly go from 'something different' to 'yet another clone' but they sure are fun and you can get anything and everything under the sun for them.
