But oh so true.
Funnily enough, there was a time when they were a good mag, probably the shootings world's version of the death of the dead tree media. But M.A.R.S attack was good until they added the second line.

So what does anyone think is the future of "Self-ejecting"(I've had this discussion with people on and off this forum, someone I was shooting with yesterday for one example) and I think its a better term than "nearly" semi auto. What does future developments do you think will come out of the precedence of this?

Also Saddler was right, Pete Moore did regenerate into into Jabba the Hut in two-three times too small Camo (maybe he's the slim Jabba the Hutt now? He's added the beard also).

A Self-ejecting trigger release PKM would be good, but more chance of Hell freezing over!

Looks a little heavy, wouldn't a Dragunov be a better option though? You might get a self ejecting AK in the future though Snayperskaya, but don't tell anyone I said that ;) .

I know, but some people don't want to go that big after thinking it. Still I got thinking of something. If mars and lever release are actions not covered by either the 1988 or 1997 acts. Then lets use a devils advocate situation of a shotgun being designed with them. It would fall under not being a pump or semi and as such could be a uk legal "Short barrel shotgun". Anyone ever had that thought sometimes?

The key issue is cost. If they can get the price down to about £1000 then straight pull rifles will be dead. If it stays around £1500 then a lot of shooters won't drop the cash to pick one up.

Thats what I thought, but alot of straight pulls are £1500 plus (see the Icon arms or even a good SGC or bradley arms). What alot of people seem to forget is in the US, budget AR's are around the 499-699 mark (Smith and Wesson M&P15 sport/Ruger AR556, etc) Good US ar's are still over $1000. If we had no 1988 act, even with a good currency conversion, we'd still be paying over the odds I reckons for some stuff.

Also have you seen the cost of new Mini 14's in the US? The US version of RRP (MSRP) puts most ones at nearly $1000 (street is often not that though).

But that itself does account for the decline in the mini 14's popularity (Ruger actually brought out a 300 blk one recently and its funny as Ruger has their own AR line, so wait for them to introduce a 300 blk version of that).
