What? Pete Moore gave a bad review of kit? Having subscribing to the magazine a couple of years ago because Moore seemed to have decided that journalistic integrity wasn't half as important as keeping distributors and importers happy for advertising revenue....
Might have to get a copy again...

Hi gungho,
I spoke with Paul at Lantac yesterday about collecting my rifle this weekend and to be fair to him he's been preparing for a visit from the firearms officer to renew his dealer licence so he's been up to his neck. Give him another try, you won't regret it.

Did the 'guy in your club' raise his concerns with Lantac? Guns can play up - esp .22 semi-autos. In my experience Paul@Lantac does stand by his product and would put it right.
Pete Moore did do a less than favourable review of a CMMG .22 Semi - but I don't think it was a Lantac supplied one?
The clue is the plastic buffer tube.

The CMMG 22LR was supplied by North West Custom Parts,
"North West Custom Parts who supplied this example told me they took the CMMGs to the Phoenix Meeting and general feedback from customers was lupe warm."
As others have said Mr Moores reviews sometimes have to be taken with a pinch of salt, I certainly wouldn't trust someone who couldn't spell "lukewarm" correctly

The gun was .223 from NWCP, as were the SS reviews. The "guy" did speak to Wayne & never got it resolved afaik. Quite a few posts on other forums about NWCP have put me off them. Never heard a bad word about Lantac kit.

If P Moore gave them a bad review I am certain that it was on the basis of that the company concerned didn't take out the advertising option. That is the only way any kit gets a bad review in Gun Mart. I know for fact that if you take out the advertising option you can write your own review.
The current gun comic publishers of which Blaze seems to be predominant have has as much integritry as a virtual brothel populated by politicians.
Lets face it these gun rag scribblers see them selves as "Journalists" so as such deserve no respect.

I seem to remember NWCP had an advert on the facing page. I'll try & find my copy & post some info.

.223 was from NWCP? Ah Ok.
Apologies for any confusion on my part.
