Chrissie Hall is one of the four members of the Gun Control Network. She is also a Trustee of the Infer Trust.
Also listed is one Peter Squires, a Brighton sociologist, and of course, Gill Marshall-Andrews. I'm 99% certain the 4th member is Bob, her husband.

PaulR any???? any???? any????
I reckon it's Gill Marshall-Andrews, her husband and their two next door neighbours (also known as the Gun Control "Network").

I'm not kidding, it really is just the four of them. Might not be their neighbours, but I found a picture years ago with a caption that accidentally admitted the GCN has just 4 members. Our Gill doesn't reply to questions on how big her pet project is.
Of course Gaz, she's always behind these sort of campaigns - she's the UK version of the USAs Dianne Feinstein without the any sort of Government Position (not meaning to patronise but Feinstein is a rabidly anti-gun US Senator for those that don't know).

Trouble is, despite her 4 man crew, Andrews seems to have a disproportionate influence when compared with her US counterpart and she seems to be effectively punching way above her weight. Her husband is/was an MP (not sure without checking his current status - is he still with us mortals?).

Anyone remember the Firearms Consultative Committee appointed by the Conservatives and surprisingly enough disbanded by New Labour, GM-A and GCN had two seats on the committee whilst all other interested parties only had one. Go figure.

As she's not an elected official and all of this is conjecture, I don't think that Freedom of Information requests are relevant at this stage. If anything became banning something as a result of something non-UK domestic then it probably would be......

She was told by the Northern Ireland office that she was unhelpful and they wouldn't be seeking her "advice"..... In short, chased her out of the province. Northern Ireland is the fly in her ointment. Pistols are still avaiable for target shooting, police, prison officers and officials carry personal protection weapons and, a large number of civilians have pistols on FAC for personal protection.

And remove terrorism from the crime figures and NI has the lowest crime rate of the four home countries.....

This being the same Peter Squires that failed to mention his affiliation with the GCN when he was invited to give expert firearms opinions to the home office firearms committee then and his excuse for not declaring his affiliation was that no one asked him, bit like inviting a Muslim to talk about the benefits of eating pork.

So has anyone that has emailed the sun had a response?

No, not had a response to my email....

And my comments on the article have been removed as well.

I asked what was more dangerous to society, the lowest powered rifle being allowed to be owned by rigourously checked and licensed individuals, or, a journalist whose integrity sees them getting arrested.......

Perhaps the Sun should stick to boobs and "Phew! What a scorcher!"

If I recall he is the same lying b****** who claimed that several police officers have been shot and killed whilst visiting FAC holders since the 1997, which is why according to him we should not be allowed to store ammunition at home
