Since when do the home office or the police pass legislation in this country ! (Give it time they will be allowed at some point )

And why MARS or LR rifle must be also banned Sim?-not used in any mass shootings, terror atacks or bank jobs...why not combine some will and power and try to lift this stupid ban-the best defence is atack...why speed cameras can be removed, also speed limits pushed up?why so many poeple underestimates his powers and limits?why so many thinks it is done forever?-and something like French Revolution or big asteroid strike opens locked minds and we can start again, when hamster mad wheel is finaly broken...

Problem here is that a lot of Brits are brainwashed into having an irrational fear of all weapons ! And to trust the government for help ! Even mation about getting CS spray legal (much of Europe legal and no checks ) will be greeted with howels and hysterical screaming from the sheep usuall about making it worse ! Thus most of them won't care or even want all guns banned ! Most don't even know you can even own a firearm let alone a right in our bill of rights !
We have never been closer to shooting airsoft then ever before
Probably because non shooters and shooters are still calling them weapons!
It's only a weapon if you choose to use it as one.

I vaguely remember it being mentioned somewhere that after the Centrefire semi auto ban when straight pull AR-15 first started to appear there were a few confiscations by the Plod and Home Office. Then followed some rather amusing attempts to get these confiscated guns to fire semi auto by the authorities, even after actively damaging the rifles they didn't fire off semi or fully automatically...which rather makes sense considering they lacked any of the components to actually allow that.
When the first variations went in back in the early 90's and people started buying those straight pulls busybody FLO/FEO probably had a palpitation thinking that "Guns that look like that had been banned" in their eyes!
Legislation based on aesthetics is not good.

There are no such things are Section 5 components, only complete firearms.

Or at least that's the opinion of the head bloke from the firearms section of the Home Office. Can't really think of a better person to get an opinion from in such matters though.

If this is right-thnx for very good news, but it will be flecking hard to explain it to all Police Forces in UK-only one way will work,MORE rifles/manufacturers must follow this way,so 3 is a magic number...???(SGC,CAA,LG-next...)
