Gun control advocates this month took a page from the global warming activists playbook: the science is settled, so there is no need for debate.

However, instead of actually reviewing the scientific literature on the subject, Professor David Hemenway at Harvard made a survey of cherry-picked authors. Surprisingly, he found the vast majority agreed that we need more gun control.
Anyway, good luck with the club hunting exercise.

Maybe you are, maybe you aren't. It is painfully obvious that either you're not seriously looking to become a HO approved club member (how would you ever trust yourself with one of these things), or if you are there's probably good reason that clubs aren't taking you on- I shudder to think what your reaction is when you see something like a 15-22 on the range.
I think maybe the fact that I'm for robust gun regulations (not outright bans) over a completely unregulated situation is because of the things I've seen with gun injuries and deaths.

Ever seen a man with his whole face hanging off (and I really do mean that) after being shot in the side of the head? I have. Not pleasant!
That was with a legally held and registered firearm, I take it?

Do you apply the same logic to all the other injuries you see?
How many times am I going to have to write that I'm not for an outright ban and that I don't have any problem with mentally healthy law abiding people having access to firearms and that I would consider myself and most people I've interacted with on this forum to fall in to that category? Are you even reading any of my comments or just looking for fights?
