NEsniper-thanks for your post,well done.What I discovered about some RFDs really puzled me-1st they are not on our side,2nd where is no directive from HO/BigBrother-they will write own and try to cash as much as possible on it(I know another stark example).Maybe is a good idea to have own shooters/weapon owners law representative-something like 999 call-to fight this demolishing/foolish attempts straight away before they got out of hand and do more damage then good(if any)

North East sniper, PM me and I will discuss further with you as it was my m44 that was held by an RFD that started this, don't want to drag it out on the forum so get in touch and we'll have a chat.

Hi Polemass
I have been wondering if BASC would get involved or get behind this in anyway

Hi Sconie
Looks like I don't have the PM facility yet (unless I am just not seeing it with my bad eye

)
Full resect to not wanting to drag this out on the forum
Like I said above it was one on my mate this happened to the other day so I just thought that everyone should maybe be aware that this looks like it is going to go across the whole of Scotland and I doubt that Glasgow will go on the side of the shooter

North East Sniper you will need 15 meaningful posts under your belt before you can use the PM function or officially view the For Sale and Wanted sections. 15 posts does not take long and the rule was set to prevent people joining, hawking a load of used stuff in the FS&W section and then disappearing off again.

Yeah No worries ovenpaa
I'm just having a look around now
I'm no stranger to forums, as I'm a mod on another forum for different stuff, I'm just a shooting forum virgin until today

I had a vist from my FLO on Thursday just past and am being told that i am not allowed to take any of my bayonets outside my house as it is then classed as a public place, i am also being told that private and military ranges are public places?? How can that be....
I have been deemed by Police Scotland as a responsible person who can own firearms, so i can be in the truck on my way to Warop with several high powered rifles hundreds of rounds of ammo yet i have to leave the pigsticker bayonet for my Nagant at home because its an offensive weapon???
I use the bayonet on my 91/30 when sitting on the ground as i feel that it shoots better with it on and it is better balanced.
Any thoughts.....
