I haven't seen on in the flesh as yet but I really do like the look of the FR-8 and have read good things about them. Fella on snipers hide has one, here's a photo of it. Ignore the pistol if you can, I don't want you folks upsetting yourselves now

It's an odd rifle in a way, with the flash hider and the magazine it's like it wants to be a semi auto but didn't quite make it. I guess that is part of the attraction of the rifle.

Far from being a great fan of the paint job but that FR8 with a detachable mag would looks like a very nice poor-man Gunsite Scout Rifle
My friend got his one for less than €uro 150 which I think is about the going price in Germany .

I find them strangely appealing, has anyone seen them for sale here in the UK

C&G had 3 or 4 on display at the Trafalgar. I had one of those "what the hell is that" moments when I saw them and homed in for a closer look. The tube below the barrel had a screw driver slot in the end plug instead of the usual pip for locating the bayonet and was used to store the sight adjusting tool and a small pull through. Interesting looking rifle and a nice finish but I would think that they are up there with the No.5 carbine for shoulder brutality.

yep and was wondering what the G3 mag was doing on OvenPaa'pic and if it had been modify to accept it ?? but cant see any mag release system .
but then again, the forward scope montage enables the use of striper-clips, removing the need/benefit of detachable mag feeding ?

Dunno but my friend shoots it in 200 meters TAR comps but then he is extremely good . I doubt the rifle would get the same results in my hands
