I have been re loading some more .308 rounds using my all singing all dancing new bits of kit. The Le Wilson stuff is good kit except for the seating dies you really need to buy the micrometre adjusting type. I bought the standard seating dies I wont be buying any more if you get the overall length wrong you have to pull the bullets and start again.
I think the seating dies will be going the journey a expensive mistake. Unless I can get one of the guys at work to modify them.
I don't like the Hornady COAL overall length gauges either I have ordered a shooting shed jobby it will be interesting to see the difference.

Until you replace it the key here is to start too long - mark the die top to an index point or two on the body so you can see the change for 1/4 or 1/8 etc turn.
Work down in increments - when you happy - make a MASTER Dummy round for that length.
The next time you want toload that round you dial out - put in the dummy and turn till you touch - back up a small bit - and in 2 or 3 turns you back to close.

Ditto I did same - expect to be very pleasantly at the difference
SS is world class kit! :goodjob:
