Tim.

Hope the weather gods are kind to you, more so as I am shooting too - but alas I will be shooting amongst the sheep at the 1 mile ETR on F Range at Sennybridge.

Well, we had a good afternoon on the Saturday at least. Weather was s*** but good fun nevertheless, and very informative. Give or take, the little 223 kept pace with the 308 in the wind, but it did highlight the problems inherent with such a small bullet - marker not finding bullet holes easily in target, and not spotting the shot going through as reliably. But, take nothing away - the weather was foul, credit to them for even being there - I wouldn't be on that kind of money, not on that day!

It wouldn't be the same without C2R discussion, but it has proven itself for me at least - guns cleaned much more easily... Roll on the next one!
